Man U lose to Liverpool 4-1 at home… and in the very next match, lose to unfancied Fulham 2-0! Three red card (Vidic, Scholes, Rooney) in 2 matches for the Red Devils!
On the other hand… Liverpool follow up their win over Manu U with a 5-0 thrashing of Aston Villa! Liverpool now just a point [...]

The EPL transfer window closed on 31st. The Sheikhs from Abu Dhabi not only bought Man City, but also threw in Robinho. Finally a new club to challenge Chelsea in throwing away money.
The FA apparently was not happy with Thaksin’s ‘tainted’ money. So Thaksin exits, and…

After a 0-1 loss to Fulham, the whole world started doubting Arsenal’s credentials. What a comeback. They decimated Newcastle 3-0 today. If not for Shay Given in the Toon goal, there would have been half-a-dozen goals for Arsenal today. Young Denilson gets his first goal for Arsenal. What a moment.
Go Gunners!

It will be correct to call this season’s team as ‘One Man United.’ Cristiano Ronaldo has single handedly dragged Man United to [...]

It’s amazing how the league positions for certain teams become clear by the half way mark. Most teams would have played against all the other teams once. The league table now is [...]

Interesting observation on the EPL season so far…
Fulham’s league position would have been 1st, if based purely on the score at half time.
Which goes to show that football really is a game of two halves. However, Lawrie Sanchez’s team can’t hold on to a lead. Which is why they are 19th on second-half scores alone [...]

This Saturday, at the Emirates Stadium, the premier league’s greatest rivals meet once again. Sir Alex will once again pit his wits against The Professor.
Both Arsenal and Manchester United are tied on 26 points at the top of the table. Manchester United have won their last six matches. Arsenal are yet to lose this season.
Statistics-wise, [...]
